Hickey started the business, he wanted to provide his community with great work, unique solutions, and friendly service; and now at helm, his son Shawn continues on the same course.

DRH Canvas & Marine Limited is Halifax Regional Municipality's premiere marine/industrial fabricator and product supplier. We are internationally certified craftsmen (IFAI- MFA Division) in repairs, alterations, fabrication and installation of marine/industrial products, and have experience & knowledge of the maintenance products we sell, and some which we don't. Our complete yacht interior and exterior work will have your boat the talk of the yard, and our industrial tarps/covers will give you ease of mind that your valuable equipment is well protected. We tailor all jobs to each boat owner's individual needs and specifications- for example: Two C & C 30's, one owner is 6'4”, the other stands 5'2”. Each others requirements for a dodger, Bimini, and minimum cockpit cover heights will be uniquely different. That is what we understand, we customize each and every project to your needs and desires. Over 35 years of experience has taught us to listen to the customer's thoughts, as well as advise and suggest what works, or what doesn't.
